A Call to Vote
A Call to Partnership
Dear Friends,
As I campaign around the CCSD community, I am greeted with the voices of our community members. Neighbors, friends, friends of friends and friends of neighbors. We are all connected. We are community.
Sound bites in response to my passion for our schools:
- "Thank you for running again"
- "Thank you for your continued dedication to serve our community."
- "Thank you for stepping up to do this job AGAIN.
My heart flutters and swells with warmth and an overwhelming sense of gratitude overflows.
As I look towards finding unity within our diversity, I am committed to build on our progress. I am not working for you. I am working for US. The students, families, & taxpayers.
We must come together to accomplish something neither can achieve alone.
Please partner with me.

About Me:
I am an educator by training but my desire for pursuing excellence in education is a passion that comes from the bottom of my heart. My confidence is in my experiences as a teacher, mother of 3, wife, sister, friend, neighbor, community member, and most recently, my tenure on the CCSD BOE. My family of five moved here eleven years ago because of our excellent schools. The many walks of life I have taken and the multiple hats I wear each day will enable me to be an effective school board trustee. A board member who is mindful, who actively listens, and communicates clearly with integrity. We have achieved significant milestones, but there is still so much work to be done. We need to ask the right questions. We must maximize our partnership opportunities. We cannot forget to celebrate ALL of our students. The good work and learning never ends.
Why I want to serve:
As an incumbent, my work here doesn't feel finished. I took three years to work and learn alongside our administration. I listened to our community and worked hard to build new relationships and strengthen existing ones. I worked diligently to set policies that support the needs of every student in our district. Balancing fiscal responsibility while ensuring every student receives a quality education is a challenge I take very seriously. With your continued support, I will prioritize accountability, partnership, and serving ALL students while understanding a big range of community interests. Together, we've made tremendous strides forward and learned how to pivot, to navigate challenges, always with the well being of our students and faculty at the forefront.
As a teacher and a mom with three children of my own in 5th, 8th, and 10th grade, I bring firsthand understanding of diverse needs and perspectives across our district. I am committed to my fiduciary obligations to all of our taxpayers and not only the ones with school age children.
I bring experience, I bring understanding & knowledge, I come with a posture to serve and lean into the needs of our whole community.
We have lots of important issues with no simple solutions. I am ready. I don't need to get up to speed. I know what needs to be done. Ready to hit the ground running. I am ready to represent you.
